I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for a TRUWHIP Giveaway!!!

 In Blog, Giveaway

Remember digging into a tub of whipped topping by the spoonful??? Yep…we’ve all done it!!! Don’t be ashamed, it’s truly a foodie guilty pleasure!

What you SHOULD be ashamed of is digging into a tub of whipped topping, loaded with ingredients that are hard to pronounce and full of high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, and other chemicals.  So, next time you have the urge to dig in by the spoonful, dig into truwhip and truwhip skinny!!

truwhip and truwhip skinny is the first frozen whipped toppings that are free of high fructose corn syrup and other chemical ingredients that are hard to pronounce.

This delicious duo also contains up to 50 percent less fat than traditional ice creams. Unlike other chemical-laden whipped cream concoctions, truwhip contains no high fructose corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils, no polysorbate 60, no trans fats and no GMOs. truwhip is also certified gluten-free and Kosher.

If you’re a die-hard ice cream lover, it’s good to know the skinny on frozen whip; it makes a good case for choosing truwhip over icecreamtruwhip skinny contains 100 calories per half cup. Now, that calorie count is a lot better for your waistline than most ice creams that average 3x the calories per half cup.

I also like to use truwhip because of the light, sweet flavor that makes whipped topping an amazing addition to desserts and a great, light alternative to whipped cream and ice cream.  Try my Layered CocoChoco Chia Pudding with TruWhip!!!

Layered CocoChoco Chia Pudding

Have dessert for breakfast! It literally makes itself overnight in a mason jar! Good enough on its own, or a dip with fresh fruit!

Recipe Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 C unsweetened almond, rice or hemp milk
  • 1 tsp stevia
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flake
  • 1/2 Cup truwhip
Directions:
1) In a Mason Jar or container with a seal, whisk together milk, stevia and vanilla extract.  Add chia seeds, cocoa powder and unsweetened coconut flake and mix or shake until all ingredients are well incorporated.  I use a little frother to get everything nicely mixed right in the Mason Jar.
2) Refrigerate overnight and by morning, you will have a firm pudding consistency.
3) Layer into a parfait glass with a few spoons of truwhip alternated with 2 Tablespoons of chia pudding until you reach the top.  Garnish with optional pomegranate seeds or raspberries.

Because we LOVE truwhip and we love giveaways even more, we are giving away four (4) tubs of truwhip (winners’ choice of flavor), and a truwhip ice cream scoop to 4 lucky winners this week (9/25/15 – 9/30/15)!!! This is a $25 value, so don’t miss your chance to be selected as one of FOUR prize winners!!
