Rustic Peach Phyllo Tarts

Rustic Peach Phyllo Tarts

Oh-Em-Gee do I love peaches. Now that we’re starting to see the early crop coming in, I wanted to share this K.I.S.S. worthy (my acronym Keep It Super Simple with Smart Swaps) recipe to make and share. My daughter saw me posting this picture and was drooling on the computer. She loves these so much!

Just make sure to wash your peaches with Eat Cleaner Fruit + Vegetable Wash first. Unfortunately, they are number two after apples on the Environmental Working Group‘s ‘Dirty Dozen’ list for being high in sprayed pesticides. Eat Cleaner is lab proven to remove over 99% of the surface pesticide residue, which is what you need to be most concerned about. Even if you’re getting them organic, wash them properly to remove bacteria and other handling hazards.

Now, all you have to do is watch the video and make these tonight. They’re easy peasy, and the great think is phyllo freezes really well if you don’t use it all. Let me know what you think!
