Best suited for 7 months+

Banana and Butternut Squash Puree

½ Banana, mashed

1 Cup Butternut Squash, cooked until fork tender

Breast milk to desired consistency


Combine mashed banana and butternut squash breast milk to desired consistency. Store in ice cube trays to keep extra if needed.


Spinach and Pumpkin Puree with Thyme

2 cups fresh Spinach, steamed

1 cup pumpkin, cooked (you can use fresh pumpkin or packaged pumpkin)

¼ teaspoon dried thyme

Low sodium vegetable stock (to desired consistency)


In a food processor, combine steamed spinach, pumpkin and dried thyme. Add a few tablespoons of low sodium vegetable stock until desired consistency is reached. Store in ice cube trays to keep extra if needed.


Avocado and Applesauce Puree with Cinnamon

2 ripe Avocados

½ cup no sugar added Applesauce

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a food processor, pulse avocado flesh with applesauce until smooth. Mix in cinnamon. Store in ice cube trays to keep extra if needed.


Blueberry, Beet and Greens Puree

1 Cup fresh or frozen blueberries

½ Cup fresh beets, steamed until fork tender

¼ Cup beet greens, steamed until tender

Breast milk to consistency

In a food processor, puree blueberries with beets and greens until smooth. Add a few tablespoons of breast milk until desired consistency.


Another great tip!!! Pour excess homemade baby food in ice trays to freeze for use throughout the week in pre-portioned cubes!!!
