what makes us special
The only all natural, patented produce wash, Eat Cleaner® is the tasteless, odorless and lab-tested line of food wash and wipes that is up to 99.9% more effective than water in cleaning wax, pesticide residues and soil from commercially and organically grown produce. In a 14-day study, applying Eat Cleaner® All Natural Fruit + Vegetable Wash to a variety of fruit and 100 pure guarantee vegetables also prolonged shelf life up to 5x longer through a natural blend of fruit acids and antioxidants. This can help save your family on average over $500 per year, reducing waste and making it easy to get your half plate of fruit and veggies each day.
In 2006, my father, a professor emeritus in Environmental Scientist, was diagnosed with bladder and prostate cancer. I thought my world would fall apart at the seams. My parents and I had immigrated to the US from Egypt with no savings, no jobs and no certainty. Yet, despite their countless struggles in our new country, I never saw fear in him until that moment. The part that really unnerved me was his doctors told him to avoid raw foods, including vegetables and leafy greens. I thought this was insane—these are the very foods that help to build strength and immunity! I had grown up in the culinary world with a certificate in holistic nutrition and knew this was not the right path. Salads were my father’s favorite food, and it would not bode well for his short or long-term recovery. He began losing weight, his appetite and his willpower. All I could think was, we need to make these foods safer. Over the course of the next 2½ years, we tested nine different formulas, built out our brand, filed for our patent and created a myriad of prototypes to test. In 2010, Eat Cleaner® was officially born and three years later, with a patent in hand, we began actively promoting our lab-proven products. We are dedicated to helping you enjoy cleaner, safer, longer-lasting fresh food – because everyone deserves to eat the foods intended for good health with peas of mind.
