With the weather heating up, I’ve got a great way to keep you cool and nourished with a snack your whole family will love. These high protein popsicles are power packed with fruit and veggies and no added sugar. Just combine a container of Greek Raspberry Yogurt, ¼ C of spinach, ½ C raspberries, an avocado, peel and pit removed, 2 T almond butter and a ¼ C almond milk into a blender and pulse until smooth. You can also place a few whole raspberries at the top, then pour the mixture into the popsicle tray and after 10 minutes, take the out and insert the wooden spoons. If you don’t have a popsicle tray, you can use individual paper cups. Delicious and nutritious. Might even make you feel like a kid again.
See the recipe below and watch how easy it is to make these on my Fit Foody Friday segment on San Diego 6 News.
